Paraplanner

Location: Cheshire
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
Working Pattern: Flexible working available

The Opportunity
An established and growing financial planning business is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its highly valued team.
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will provide high-quality technical and research support throughout the advice process, helping to deliver robust, compliant and client-focused financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend adviser debriefs and interpret information gathered during client meetings.
• Conduct detailed research into investments, pensions and other financial products.
• Analyse client circumstances, needs and objectives to develop appropriate solutions.
• Prepare clear and technically accurate suitability reports, illustrations and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate and compliant client files.
• Prepare files for client reviews and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Work closely with Advisers to ensure recommendations are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Manage your own workload and prioritise multiple deadlines effectively.

You'll ideally have:

• 2+ years' experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning environment.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge of investments and pensions.
• Experience producing suitability reports and technical documentation.
• A good understanding of the financial planning and compliance process.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
