Trainee Paraplanner Location: Cheshire
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

The OpportunityAn established and growing financial planning business is looking to recruit a Trainee Paraplanner to join its expanding Paraplanning team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within a financial planning environment who is looking to develop their technical knowledge and progress their career within Paraplanning.
Working alongside experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers, you will receive training and support while gaining exposure to a broad range of client and technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Paraplanning team and Financial Advisers.
- Act on instructions following client meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records using the firm's back-office systems.
- Prepare suitability letters and reports as part of the Paraplanning training programme.
- Carry out basic research into investments, pensions and financial products.
- Obtain illustrations and product information from providers.
- Liaise with clients and providers regarding outstanding information and queries.
- Support platform and existing business administration.
- Assist with client and provider communications.
- Ensure client files are maintained accurately and remain compliant.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience within a financial planning organisation.
- Experience using financial services systems and investment platforms.
- A good understanding of the financial planning process.
- An interest in developing your technical Paraplanning skills.
- Good working knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good IT skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Intelligent Office would be advantageous.
Qualifications & Development
- Ideally, you'll already be working towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or be keen to progress your qualifications as part of your career development.
