Love recruitment, but ready for a change from agency life?If you enjoy finding great people but are looking for better hours, more stability and the opportunity to make a real impact within one business, this could be the move for you.
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join the HR team of an established, employee-owned compliance consultancy and training organisation operating across the UK and internationally.
You’ll still enjoy the parts of recruitment you love: sourcing candidates, building relationships and filling vacancies, but instead of recruiting for multiple clients, you’ll focus on building and growing one team.
With a genuine 9–5 working day, a supportive environment and the opportunity to see the long-term impact of your hires, this is an excellent opportunity to take your recruitment career in a different direction.
The role
- You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, including:
- Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards and other channels.
- Writing engaging and creative job adverts.
- Managing applications, interviews, offers and onboarding.
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs.
- Keeping candidates informed and delivering a positive candidate experience.
- Managing the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Completing pre-employment checks and references.
- Supporting the company’s LinkedIn, Instagram and careers page.
- Developing relationships with colleges, universities and recruitment partners.
- Attending careers fairs and recruitment events.
- Occasional travel to the company’s other office.
About youYou may currently be working in a recruitment agency and considering a move in-house, or you may already have internal recruitment experience and be looking for your next challenge.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven recruitment experience, either agency-side or in-house.
- Strong candidate sourcing and attraction skills.
- Experience using LinkedIn, job boards and ATS systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Plenty of positive energy and a genuine interest in people.
- Most importantly, you’ll enjoy connecting with people, take pride in finding the right talent and want to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of a business.
What’s on offer?
- A genuine 9–5: Monday to Friday, with no expectation that recruitment should take over your evenings.
- Hybrid working: The opportunity to work from home up to two days a week following probation.
- Stability: Join an established and growing business with a long-standing presence in its sector.
- Employee ownership: Be part of a business where employees have a genuine stake in its success.
- Attractive benefits: 23 days’ annual leave (increasing through years worked) plus bank holidays, private healthcare, pension, sick pay, loyalty bonuses and more.
- A people-first culture: Work in an environment built around honesty, integrity, independence and putting people first.
Ready to swap agency life for something different?
If you’re passionate about recruitment but would welcome more predictable hours, greater stability and the chance to build a team you can truly be proud of, we’d love to hear from you.
