(JM23) Senior Project Manager

Enfield | £70,000.00 Per Annum

Working in partnership with a family run, utility services business which has been in business for 50years, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join their very successful team based in London.  The role is permanent and full-time.

Role Purpose
To manage water related construction projects from site set up to hand over, safely delivering works, completion within programme, managing costs and delivering to the client’s specification/requirements. To manage Project Managers in the delivery of their projects.

Role Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Framework Managers and Design Team to manage project delivery.
  • Formulate and implement procurement strategy.
  • Monitoring the activities and performance of Project, preparing monthly client progress reports.
  • Record all changes to client requirements and scope of services.
  • Safe, effective, and right first-time delivery of the specific contract's requirements
  • Promote, enforce, and adhere to the company's Health & Safety Policy and Procedure
  • Training and development of supervisory and operational employees to ensure the accurate availability of competent staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant client representatives, supply chain and local authorities.
  • Produce and manage contract programme.
  • Provide suitable bid support at tender stage.
  • Processing all contract Quality and H&S documentation
  • Assist with all commercial aspects and monitor contract costs.
  • Ability to lead project management commissions, act as the key day to day client interface, ensuring objectives are met and project delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post.

Key Competencies
  • Qualification in Engineering allied subject to HND or degree status
  • CSCS, IOSH Managing safely or Equivalent.
  • Experience in managing and successfully delivering drainage and/or potable water projects and in managing others in similar roles.
  • Understanding of Engineering Principles
  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience of construction techniques and best practices
