(VC35) Area Sales Manager

£30,000.00 - 32,000.00 Per Annum (Plus Bonus, Car & Benefits Package)

EXCELLENT opportunity! I am recruiting an Area Sales Manager to join a prominent and well-established market leader in the Health & Safety Workwear and PPE Supplies.

As the Area Manager, your self drive and determination will play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing existing business, whilst driving new sales and fostering client relationships across north west London and surrounding areas of the M4 corridor. This role offers a dynamic blend of field-based and remote work, allowing you to take ownership of your territory and contribute to the growth of your client portfolio.

•        Drive and determination to generate sales, achieve and exceed targets

•        Ability to gain a great understanding of business prospects and opportunities in your region

•        Establish strong and successful long term business relationships

•        Put the customer’s needs at the heart of your sales, recognising areas of growth

•        Manage a portfolio of customers, providing excellent service for all their requirements

•        Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase revenue

•        Ability to regain lost or lapsed business

•        Generate additional business from the range extensions, working with suppliers and own brand

•        Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly reports detailing results

•        Maintain price files, advise of increases, manage expectations, ensuring business is retained

•        Regular customer contact, acting on enquiries and resolving any issues

 

Candidate Requirements:
 

•        Proven track record in generating sales from new and existing business

•        Identify opportunities for revenue growth

•        Be highly self-driven and thrive in a targeted performance and sales culture

•        Natural flair and strong commercial acumen built into their nature

•        Previous experience within the industry sector would be advantageous, but not essential

•        Effectively manage supplier partnerships where applicable

•        Recognise that customer satisfaction is the key to overall success

•        Drive outstanding customer care, anticipating customer’s needs and offering further services

•        Ensure the customer remains the priority, delivering exceptional service
