Paraplanner vacancy, Hybrid Working, Up to £48,000 per annum (Salary Dependent Upon Qualifications and Experience)


This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Paraplanner who is seeking a role that combines a challenging and fulfilling role with flexibility and reward. They’re based in Stockport, operate a hybrid working model, have clear reporting lines and team structures, and they’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join them. In the role you’ll work with the team, share knowledge, and play a key role in the Advice process by supporting the Independent Financial Advisers in a technical capacity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with financial advisors to deliver comprehensive financial plans and reports for clients.
  • Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and financial regulations to support the advisory team.
  • Prepare and analyse client portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in client meetings, providing technical support and insights on financial strategies.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investments, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using financial planning software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent are desirable.


Benefits:

  • A competitive salary, starting at £35,000 and increasing up to as much as £48,000 depending on your level of qualifications and experience.

  • 26 days per annum (3 days to be used for the Christmas shutdown)
  • 1 extra day for every 2 full financial years’ service (to a max of 33 days).

  • Buy and sell holidays – ability to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday entitlement each year (total holiday entitlement must not exceed the maximum of 33 days per year).
  • All eligible employees will be auto enrolled from the start of their second month of employment, on a 5% match of annual salary and the business will match up to 7.5%.
