Employee Benefits Administrator Vacancy, £26,000-£31,000, Manchester with Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 WFH)


You'll be joining an established provider of Financial and Employee Benefits Advice and as an Employee Benefits Administrator you will work closely with the Consultants to provide outstanding administrative support, ensure the smooth operation of the benefits administration processes and deliver an exceptional service to their clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new business for Auto Enrollment, Group Personal Pension, Group Risk, Group Private Medical Insurance, and Cashplans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with scheme rules.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a designated bank of corporate clients, keeping them informed throughout all stages of the life-cycle, including new business, renewals, and general inquiries.
  • Issue Letters of Authority or Appointment and ensure timely receipt of all required information from clients.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain necessary data for quotations and analyze data to ensure alignment with client needs and scheme requirements.
  • Obtain quotations from providers for both new business and renewal stages and compile quote results into comprehensive comparisons for Advisers' review and approval.
  • Coordinate with providers and ensure effective communication and follow-up on client inquiries and requests.
  • Manage the setup of new Employee Benefits Schemes and facilitate renewals or switches as directed by the Adviser team.
  • Process joiners/leavers to Private Medical Insurance in a timely manner and handle Group Risk claims efficiently.
  • Generate governance reports for Group Pensions and provide analytics on clients to support the Adviser team.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails professionally, redirecting inquiries as necessary, and manage diary appointments for assigned clients in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the Back Office System, ensuring adherence to internal processes.
  • Verify client fees, issue invoices, and manage any aged debt, recording fees internally in line with established processes and SLAs.

To be considered you'll need: 

  • Previous administration/support experience within Employee Benefits, Group Life, Private Medical Insurance and/or Workplace Pension Schemes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong attention to detail .
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.

Additional info and benefits: 
  • Starting salary of up to £31,000
  • Hybrid working (3 days office based and 2 working from home)
